Police
The department in Police was built in 1991 as a factory of ferric coagulant, as the result of the cooperation between the two main partners. Chem Works Police built the factory, and Kemira Kemi AB equipped and activated it. At that time, the main part of the factory was constituted by the two reactors for PIX production.
The main task of the factory is the modification of ferrous sulfate II, which is formed during the production of titanium dioxide in Chem Works Police. It is the basic raw material for PIX production - water solution of ferric sulfate III, which is the basic product of the company.
In 1997 the production of Aluminum coagulants PAX was activated, thus increasing the company's product range on Aluminum basis as the most modern solution - polyaluminium chlorides.
While the company developed, it has been enlarged by consecutive reactors, stores for raw materials and products, a complete system of industrial automatic.
Furthermore, the factory of specialist products (blends FERCAT or ALCAT), on the basis of produced coagulants and special anti-odour products, was built. The factory is equipped with the polymers stores, therefrom its accessibility for every Polish customer practically at all times.
At present, we produce about 95.000 tons of PIX coagulants and 25.000 tons of PAX coagulants yearly in Police, continuously improving our production processes.
The factory works within the closed circulation of industrial sewage, in accordance with ISO-9000 and ISO-14000 norm, paying special attention towards ecological aspects of its operations.
